Due to my daughter not having slept for over 3 years I have been working with acrylics as it has allowed me to take much longer on a painting than I can with my preferred style of knife and oil...sleep deprivation does not go hand in hand with the creative process! Thankfully we are having more sleep days than not this month and I have finally managed to finish my first oil painting in over a year - yay!
